I'll be speaking on a panel with award-wining writer Susmita Battacharya, chaired by feminist, writer and instigator, Zeba Talkhani. We will be discussing how English is used, appropriated, or localised and how identity and belonging ties into this.
This is part of The Bombay Review's international summer literary tour, featuring events in Ireland, India, Japan, Saudi Arabia and the UK. Our talk will be followed by a workshop by Doll Hospital Magazine, an art and literature print journal on mental health (7.45pm) , and a poetry slam.
